Pathway have produced a series of short films with people with lived experience and clinicians discussing a range of homeless health care issues: from how becoming homeless affects individuals, to recognising and dealing with complex trauma, to engaging with patients, and developing best practice.
We hope they will be useful for colleagues learning about inclusion health.
This video features Mo, Mark, Dr Pippa Medcalf, Sam Dorney-Smith and Dr Nigel Hewett. It outlines how engaging with patients can help service design. This is particularly relevant when trying to involve patients in services, who can often lack confidence or health care knowledge; it’s also necessary to be aware of patients who may have multiple complex problems.
