Kath has worked in the private, public and third sector in Wales and is passionate about ending homelessness. She also has over 20 years of experience in public policy, with particular interest and expertise in housing, social justice, health and social care, climate change, and joining up of public services for the benefit of those they serve.
Kath has significant board experience and is currently the Vice-Chair of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and is also Chair of the Audit, Risk and Assurance committee of Natural Resources Wales, as well as being a Trustee of Crisis. She also brings significant leadership, strategic thinking and change management experience as a qualified accountant and former senior civil servant for Welsh Government in Housing and Regeneration and Executive Director and then CEO of two Welsh Housing Associations.
She believes in everyone being able to have a decent home, the need to strengthen integrated services for vulnerable people, especially healthcare, and the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion to ensure a fairer and more equal society.
Kath is the Crisis nominated trustee to Pathway’s board. She lives in South Wales with her partner and has two children, a cat and a dog, and loves walking, reading and travel.
