Pathway have produced a series of short films with people with lived experience and clinicians discussing a range of homeless health care issues: from how becoming homeless affects individuals, to recognising and dealing with complex trauma, to engaging with patients, and developing best practice.
We hope they will be useful for colleagues learning about inclusion health.
This video features Mo, Dr Pippa Medcalf and Dr Nigel Hewett. It explains the behaviours of some people who have survived complex trauma; outlines mental health / emotional coping strategies; how health care responds to those with complex trauma; how to identify an individual’s lack of resilience and lack of relationships.
